Jean-Christophe HONLET
Jean-Christophe HONLET is a founding partner of Honlet Legum Arbitration after having been Denton's global head of the international arbitration group. He acts as counsel, expert witness and arbitrator.
Over the past 25 years, Jean-Christophe has been involved in numerous international arbitrations, both commercial and under bilateral investment treaties (e.g. ICC, LCIA, SCC, ICSID, UNCITRAL), spanning a number of applicable laws and industry sectors, including energy, mining, international construction, real estate, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, telecommunications, media, automotive, aerospace, private equity and banking. He has represented public and private companies, individuals, sovereign States and State entities. He is also active in arbitration-related litigation, including actions to set aside arbitral awards and enforcement actions.
Jean-Christophe is a member of the Paris Bar. He graduated from ESSEC Business School, the University of Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne and the Panthéon-Assas University. He held a Lavoisier scholarship at the Maison Française, University of Oxford. He is a member of many professional associations, including the ICC Commission on Arbitration & ADR, the French Society of International Law, the French Committee on Arbitration and the International Arbitration Institute.
